What all of this means is that promoting healthier behaviors can really pay off, which is the reason why employee wellness programs are such a hot topic right now.

Research has shown that after about three years, your wellness program will have a positive return on investment. But the secret is, after three years almost nobody cares about the ROI.

That may have been a good reason to start your wellness program, but after employees start to engage, communicate with each other, and feel valued and appreciated, the reasons for doing a wellness program change. After three years many business love it because they like the way it has changed their worksite culture.
